Kingston 8GB SDHC card piece of SH*T

Hey fellow photography buffs, just a reminder that all SD cards are not created equal, some are basically "Shit". Here is my experience with the Kingston 8GB SDHC. I wanted to copy some jpgs over to my laptop, took the card out of the cam, put it into my SD slot in my computer, copied the images over with no probs. Then went to re-insert the card back into my brand new Canon T1I and noticed the card would not stay inserted inside the slot and I could not close the little door. Then I tried another SD card and got the same results. I figured....Great...new cam already messed up. I take a close look at the SD card and notice the blue plastic was falling apart and to my dismay, I notice a piece of blue plastic stuck inside the SD slot of the camera. After a few minutes of contemplating, I took a toothpick and carefully reached in the slot and nudged the piece to one side, flipped the cam upside down and with a few shakes, it fell out, thank God. Then I tried my other SD card and it stayed in perfectly. I took the piece a crap $40 Kingston SD card and some epoxy glue, peeled off all the loose blue plastic and glued it back together properly, its not pretty but it works and at least it wont fall apart in my camera again. Never another Kingston product for me. Moral of the story, when buying SDcards, don't only look for data specs but structural integrity of the plastic. Rob PS: Please circulate this openly to help anyone else.
